Welcome to HBN's "Beauty Breakdown" area!!

This is the place where HBN members enjoy "breakdowns" of products made by well known brands, or not so well known brands who have found themselves in well known places! The product reviews are contained in HBN's weekly newsletter, The Handmade Beauty Connection, and this section supplements the publicly available information by providing members with information they can use as inspiration to create their own products.

In addition to the product name and manufacturer, each Breakdown includes pricing information, net quantity of contents of the products, the ingredients contained in the product as listed by the manufacturer and perhaps most importantly, the marketing copy used to entice consumers to buy the product. Breakdowns also include directions for use and other things designed to stimulate consumer purchase.

Members use this information to get their creative juices flowing and to observe in detail how large successful beauty business companies label and market their products. Please remember that the marketing copy is the copyrighted work of the company. It is here to inspire you. Please do not copy it.
