January 22, 2001—Washington, DC.  Donna Maria Coles Johnson, Esq., has been retained as counsel with the firm of Jacobs & Associates, Attorneys at Law, in downtown Washington, D.C.

Johnson’s broad-based background includes corporate law, telecommunications, contracts, intellectual property, employment, and Internet law. Prior to joining Jacobs & Associates, Johnson was with the telecommunications group at Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, LLP. She also worked at MCIWorldCom for several years as a litigator and in their corporate and law and public policy departments. In 1999, Johnson was selected to provide in-country advice and counsel to the government of South Africa regarding industry privatization and rulemaking procedures in the telecommunications industry. She is the creator of the We2We™ (Woman Entrepreneur to Woman Entrepreneur) Success Strategies Seminars, author of a popular book on aromatherapy, and the founder of the Handmade Toiletries Network, a trade organization for manufacturers of handmade soaps, cosmetics, toiletries and aromatherapy products.
