Charlon is the owner of the Utopian Garden Soap Company and The Packaging Goddess. She left a corporate environment in 1997 to pursue personal interests that would be both spiritually fulfilling and allow her to express her creativity. The Utopian Garden Soap Company began in 1997 as a home-based business in Thousand Oaks, California. In 1999, Charlon began a packaging supplies business to fill the niche within the soapmaking community for extraordinary and distinct packaging supplies.

She enjoys diversity, so in addition to both businesses, she also travels to share and teach the art of handcrafted soapmaking. Charlon's passion for soapmaking is evident as she teaches this craft and shares her story of bringing dreams to reality. Her upbeat and positive presence has been an inspiration to the many students who have taken her classes.
